What we do & Who we are
A Catholic Resource for everyone
For the Love of God!
A Catholic Resource that does not work for everyone is not truly Catholic. Our goal is to explain the Catholi Faith, but even more importantly is the Catholic way of life. You can’t be true to God if we are not true to His teachings and examples.
He came to Earth as Jesus Christ, but he wanted toexperience everything we experience with one exception.. Sin. Obviously He could not sin, but in order to fully save us, he desired to experience our lives. SO he humbled himself to experience humanity. In this way we can know he knows how it feels to be us. and in making this connection being God and becoming man.. It allows us (should we wish) to be man becoming Holy.
How We Do...
Sanctuary Course for Catholics
The Sanctuary Course for Catholics is an eight-part course for small groups designed to raise awareness and start conversations in local parishes regarding mental health. It was created in collaboration with Catholic mental health professionals, theologians, and clergy, and offers faith communities the opportunity to learn about mental health and grow in their ability to support members living with mental health challenges.
The sessions are accompanied by compelling films that feature the stories of Catholics living with mental health challenges, along with the insights of archbishops, theologians, and psychologists. The course is available to download as a PDF, or as an audiobook if you’d prefer to listen rather than read. There is no homework, but it’s recommended that you read/listen to the sessions in advance of meeting.

Support Our Parish Community
Saint Patrick is a very large parish covering Western Sint Charles, Campton Hills, Wasco, South Elgin, Lily Lake and parts of Hampshire.
Our history goes back to when the city was founded and we have led the charge in helping the community grow and prosper. We can take pride in the work we have done as Saint Patrick since 1851. But even before that, the Church came to help the pioneer days
Feed the Hungry
.
Lazarus House was established in 1997 to help the homeless and those wishing to rebuild with the help of the community itself. in 2017 Loaves and Fishes was established as a Free Community meal for everyone in the area.
The 3rd Monday of every month join us at the downtown church, in the downstairs Father Carse Center for an excellent dinner made for you by your family
Cloth the Naked
Clothing can be found at numerous locations throughout the Parish area. It is run by numerous groups throughout Saint Charles and is given away or sold at a very reduced price. The local township can give additional locations. And is best contacted using the new 211 to find out about all Human services in Kane County
Ease the Human Mind
Christ said to his disciples, peace I give you, peace be with you. Having our mind at peace can be a very difficult thing to have happen. The pressures on us to fit in put on a happy face etc. are a façade that does little to help any of us.
It is best to be honest with everyone, lettin g our real feelings show that will allow all of us to prosper and all of us to help
Love to Human Soul
We are to love God with all of our hearts minds and souls. How do we do this, by allowing Ourselves to be honest with God. We know how we are feeling and it is okay to share with God those feelings. We can share with God our true feelings and learn to find directions for these feelings. Through loving God with truth in our hearts minds and souls
Peace to the Human Heart
Christ said to his disciples, peace I give you, peace be with you. Having our mind at peace can be a very difficult thing to have happen. The pressures on us to fit in put on a happy face etc. are a façade that does little to help any of us
